« on: February 25, 2020, 06:21:56 PM »
Dear all - urgently seeking a new or second hand actuator for the centre diff lock for my FFR.   Any part, help or advice in the right direction greatly appreciated.    (It always happens just before Corowa too!)  :o

Which bit are you after, the actuator switch on the dash or the vacuum actuator on the transfer case.

If you are in a pinch, I pulled the actuator apart and repaired the diaphragm and it is still working today (6 yrs).

Brian - that is exactly what I will have to do I feel - Question is what level of difficulty, I was of the view it wqs a sealed unit? ... ... ... however if there is a technique or a few points to follow I am game to repair it.  (No other choice)

I really appreciate the response and guidance - Thank you very much

It is not difficult, a little lateral thinking, it is in 2 halves, with 1 half having a pressed lip seal. Work around the diaphragm housing prizing the lip out 90 degree. The diaphragm I repaired with the one sikaflex that adheres to rubber, (sorry cant remember number) , or similar.
