COROWA 2020 BLIGHTY VISIT
« on: January 19, 2020, 02:49:09 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I have had a few enquiries ref the Blighty Trip happening with this years Corowa.

All the visits to our " spiritual home" have been fun and I think given the hard times farming communities are experiencing we should make a special effort and inject some cash into Blighty.

Usual deal , head off Thursday arvo and return Friday Morning for Photo shoot. ( happy to go Wednesday / Thursday if majority prefer ).

Please let me know if your interested and what night you'd like to sleep over.

Cheers,

Mick

Thx Mick. We have used up all the port from Mt Prior cellars so it would be good if we get work etc sorted and find ourselves able to do Corowa this year. 50/50 at the moment.

Hi Carzee,

No change to the blue shirt routine, however there is a new T Shirt on the horizon you will be interested in.

Stay tuned.

In relation to the Murray; you don't need to use the bridge 😊

Hi all,

in the program for Friday activities the following is currently in our newsletter:

Friday 13th March:
7:30-9:00am: KVE BBQ at Ball Park Caravan Park
9:00am: Trip ending up at Wooragee for lunch. Richard is organising a Motorcycle Run just for motorcycles. The other vehicles will leave Ball Park Caravan Park and go to Lake Moodemere where there will be a Land Rover photo shoot. After the photoshoot we will then go to the Chiltern Motor Museum. Entry $5. We are then going to the district of Wooragee where the local tennis club will provide lunch at a reasonable price as they are fundraising for new tennis courts. The Motorcycles will attend this function and then they could go back via the motor museum. The children from the local school will view the vehicles. In the afternoon people may be able to view the Lucas Mill business which is located in Wooragee before heading back to Corowa. (Over 18,500 Lucas Mill portable sawmills sold into more than 100 different countries around the world!)
Friday night: 40th Anniversary commemorations, auction and 2 course dinner at the Corowa Footy Club. The number plates which have been held back will be auctioned this night.

The Friday night will be a great night over at the Corowa Rutherglen, Football Netball Club. There will first be a dinner and then the official proceeding begin with a brief parade report followed by talks by people who would like to talk about their experiences at Corowa over the years. Even if you have only attended once or twice we welcome anyone up who would like to talk.

When you come to the site office to collect your packs there will be route cards for the Friday trip. We would also like people to put their names on the lists as there will be a lunch provided by the Worragee Tennis Club at a reasonable cost. Catering is always tricky when we are not sure of numbers.

During the night we will be auctioning off some of the sequential number plates including the following:
001,002,003,004,005,006,007,008,009,010,039,040,041,042,043,044,045,088,090,101,109,110.
