G'Day,
I have been given this vehicle and intend to at least get it going and registered. After that we will look at restoration. I'll post some pics a bit later but in the meantime, to my surprise and great relief I've found that the engine number and chassis number match. Can anyone tell me which engine I have  engine number 151915162

G’day Eric,

The engine number you mention is an early 2.25 petrol usually only fitted to the Series 2 vehicles between 1958 and 1961. So sounds right for the vehicle!

Some of the first Series 2s had the 2.0 Series 1 engine, these vehicles were all civilian.

Good save by the sounds of it, any photos?
