114-033
« on: January 08, 2020, 12:44:24 AM »
Trying to find any info on my FFT, if it served overseas etc
From what I can work out the ARN is 114-033 (found from chassis no. search on this site).
Chassis number 25316496C
6/66
Census 6006A
Contract C116791

I also read a thread on here by Fargo and his chassis numbers etc are near identical other than the last digit.
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Colin

Hi Colin, welcome to REMLR. Could you upload some photos? And pls dbl check that chassis number and ID because although I do not have anything filed about 114033, I do have info about most other Landies from 114010 to 114080. All depends on that number on the chassis and ID plate.

Hi Col,

I agree with Carzee: 114033 is not on my list of L/Rs that were deployed to SVN either, although there are a sizable number of 1140xx registrations.

Confirm the chassis number and we'll do another check.

Mike

Hi guys, thanks for the reply.
I got lucky with the Chassis and bulkhead being pretty good but pretty much replaced every other panel. Luckily I had the original panels/guards to use as a template to replicate. Could only find a good, straight series 3 tub (has reverse light holes). I pulled the 4 cyl from another FFR wreck I have here, Ex NZ Army. I'm actually going to piece the NZ Landy back together as a daily level resto and use it with the 202 conversion that came in my Ozzie FFR.
How would I go about finding info on the NZ FFR ?   chassis no. 25316955C
Cheers
Col

Good photos. Interesting results of all that work. The rear step is something I hadnt seen before. I will also check the chassis list in the BBB when i get home.

Hi, just curious, did you have a chance to check the list at all?
 Cheers

Apologies Col, things going on.

The 114000 to 114080 ARNs ... the majority are recorded in service in SVN. But there are blanks in the records I have found. Yours is one of those. All I can say is it highly likely it was over there. Mike C may have more from the records.

meanwhile, to show you how close, here is a screen cap.. and here is a line of LR in Vungers that has 114-023.

When I see a "found" LR, its like "Proof of Life" and i put in the ARN record in blue. When we find a member vehicle with a match to a SVN ARN record I highlight it (as is in there for 114009).
cheers
