 8) Hi Phill, congrats on this SVN Mk3.

I have been slack on the research. Or maybe I forgot - did I already inform you of the 1967 file of convoy packets etc (1Coy RAASC) out of Vungers that lists 170-295 several times? I am snowed lately. I will include a scr cap example of the papers anyway.

This is really up Glenn H's street, there's his name in charge of the packet. Haven't heard from Glenn in a while.

Thanks for that document Carzee !

I have copies of several other convoy orders featuring 170-295 already but every piece of the story helps 👌

Now to find one or two in-country pics...

I have some blurry 'might be' pics but nothing definate.

I will have to get Glenn into the cab some day for old time sake

Cheers,

Phill

Due to a shortage of correct switches I resorted to rebuilding the switch panel with substitute military radio and military aircraft switches

I had been on the lookout for a correct RVB 12v flat projector horn.

One came up on Ebay and was tested, cleaned and repainted with an hour of being delivered

Steering gear stripped out.

New gasket, seals and horn contact wire to go in once I carefully remove the steering wheel centre which is currently seized in place.

The indicator switch lever also will be replaced.
