Land Rover Perentie 110 Bench Seating
« on: October 28, 2019, 08:52:53 PM »
Hi all,
I am looking to buy a Perentie 110 with my Father, but before I can buy one I need to find out if it is possible to get it roadworthy and registered in Queensland with the backseats. We want to buy one that we could hold 6-8 people. Would it be easy to buy a one that was previously registered to hold people in the back in another state, but has no seats and just install the benches ourselves. Also if we where to install bench seats in the back would we be able to use waist belts or would we have to use some other kind of seat belt. Also if there is anything else we should take into account to get it registered in Queensland could you please let me know.
Hope you can help
Thanks

Here are 2 prev discussions.

I think -for 8 people transport- a proper late model LR wagon would be safer than a GS Perentie. One of many things to consider - the wagon should have 4 wheels disc brakes. The GS Perentie has only front disc brakes.
