No. 5 trailer for sale - Brisbane
« on: April 14, 2019, 08:06:48 PM »
Hey guys I am thinking about moving on my number 5 trailer. It is as it left the army with camo canvas cover (very faded), tow ring, original nato plug, and log books.

Wanted to list it here before other sites In case someone was chasing one for historic reasons rather than modifying into a camper etc.

Will get more pictures during the week.

Currently unregistered. I may be able to assist in arranging a RWC for qld buyer

$1200

I will add that 101-136 is a ex-Vietnam trailer. It came back to Australia when 4RAR returned to Townville (with my trailer as well, same shipment for 101-148). Army file R553/5/4/42 shipping list for HMS Jeparit, 14 November '71.

Carzee the logbook also mentions a stint in Rwanda. These units really have interesting passports.

1971 was when it first went into service.

Apologies in advance for hi jacking this thread...

I have an early No5 with a log book for it, the log book unfortunatley is a replacement as the original was lost some years back. After reading this thread is it possible to research it's history without a logbook, the number is 101209?

thanks in advance
Darren
