Just so we're clear, my 15yo son (Christopher) found 30-197; his offer to buy was accepted, and now its in my shed
for him to restore. Its had others mess around with it and Christopher is now getting in to restoring it - he's wanting to have this restored and licensed as his first car...
With the help of REMLR, we've found the ARN and other great information about this GS LR. He is keen to register himself with his project here on REMLR - is there anything he (we) need to be aware of? And as a 15yo, can he register?
We've had other LR's - a 200tdi (sold, long story), still have a 300tdi as a work vehicle, had a 1971 Series IIa a long time ago, and Christopher has a 1962 Series II (look in the photos, "Rusty" is on the shelves).
Looking forward to getting 30-197 restored with my Boy.
