Land Rover Series 2a military
« on: September 22, 2018, 09:26:44 PM »
Hi

I have Land Rover series 2a military 88".I did full restoration .

My question is , the front two wings have two small holes in the sides.I could not find out what are they for. From net photos, i found they have like small dark bulb but i could not confirm this.

I attached picture of it.make it large. arrow pointing to it.

Thanks

Nice looking Rover Mk8.

The holes in the outer wings are for rubber "bumpers" to allow the doors to be opened back against the wing without rubbing. If you need new rubber bumpers P.A. Blanchard in York, England sell them new old stock. I will post the part number for you later.
