Plates and placards
« on: October 05, 2018, 02:29:09 PM »
Just a post from the Army Acco International facebook page of Mike Kearney if you
Want new name plates etc, he is doing a run but needs to know by sunday 7 Oct

Just a quick update for everyone, we have finally finished the remaining artwork for the MK 5 wrecker. It was surprising how many differences there were from the Dump truck! That means that I will get the printing underway next week. Thanks to everyone who has ordered these, I appreciate your patience.  Is there anyone else interested in a set for their truck?  If so, let me know, and I can add more sets to the order. Please let me know by Sunday night if you are interested,    Cheers,    Mike.

Thanks for mentioning this Austrescue,

After the initial run that we did here on REMLR, I was asked to produce a few more sets including some for the Mk 5 wrecker. This truck has quite a few different placards, mainly to do with the Holmes gear on the back.

Happy to run off some Land Rover placards at the same time if needed.

So if anyone is after anything, let me know.

Cheers,

Mike.

Hi Mike - a couple of sets of C of G plackards would be good - say 4 sets please - this is left over from the last set you did for me - again, exemplary quality.  PS found an inter (new) main cabin wiring connection pin and full wiring loom with wires and connections "new old stock: as it came from the factory if you are interested?  this is a new loom plug in and drive away!  Wish I had had it when I re - wired my truck!

Cheers  STDDIVER

No worries Frank,

So, exactly how many CG plates do you need? Let me know and I'll add them to the order.

I remember that we worked out that some trucks had one on either side of the tray, while others only had it fitted to the drivers side.

Thanks very much for your kind offer of the loom - if it was a 2A Land Rover one, I would be all over it!

Unfortunately, I haven't got an Inter, but I am sure that someone here will give it a good home, hopefully on their Truck restoration.

Cheers,

Mike.
