Perentie Exhaust Dump Pipe
« on: December 15, 2024, 02:38:57 PM »
Hi, any info on where to get an exhaust "dump pipe"? This is the pipe which attaches to the exhaust manifold, travels downward, then turns aft to join up with the muffler pipe. I'm told it's referred to as a dump pipe.

Mine has developed a large hole on the engine side, blowing hot air all over the starter.

KLR seem to have only the full exhaust pipe kit.

Thanks in advance.......

Thanks, Craig. Disappointing news though. The hole is on the engine side, just a few inches below the triangular joint with the exhaust manifold, and is around the size of a .50c piece. Is it feasible to weld up this hole?

I can't even think why the hole would've developed in the first place. Is this a common thing?
