LRPV 178 204 (MINI)
« on: May 08, 2017, 09:18:44 AM »
Hi Boys,

came across a injured commando who happened to make a model of his SRV whilst recovering and hit him up to have a crack at a series 2A LRPV. Here is the result. I hope to attend the Melbourne premier Model makers event and show his work with 204 in the back ground. I reckon it would look fanatastic.

What do you reckon ?

 8) 8) 8) 8) that is incredible. Details and details on details. How large is the model? Shoe box, ciggy box or match box?

Hi Ross,

it is 1/35 scale which is the standard size in military modelling apparently. Its about the size of a Iphone 6.  How`s the BCF extinguisher ?  He`s done a great job.  He told me the SASR historical society has commisioned him to do a Unimog Mothership. He showed off a 6x6 LRVP at a recent model show and came 3rd.

He has a great skill there.

Cheers,

Mick

Excellent model there.
Does he scratch build or modify an existing kit?

Are you going to hit him up for an Inter? A model Inter would look great in the cabinet next to my model 101s.

Good idea Mick ,

I think he scratch builds when he has to but in this case uses a LR kit and modifies as required.

His 6x6 and SRV were pretty good. I'll try and find some pic's and port them.
