The correct Vice for workshops variants.

Is this the correct Vice that was fitted to the workshops????
1991 110 Truck Surveillance (RFSV), Winch MC2 *51-656*
2004 Truck, Carryall, Lightweight, Modified Military Special, With Winch, MC2/3 205-301, Haulmark PT1-1.2 *205090* No5 Trailer

I took this photo and the guy that owns it is ex RAEME and he still has this and uses it.

It's identical to the one in your photos but it's a DAWN vice.

Where did you get yours?

I would love to be able to get one for my workshop

Was the dawn one standard fit? or was the record one the correct one?

This is my son they used dawn 4" vice and but mainly record 74 vice. Soon to be painted red again same colour the army used on most wksp equipment.

So they used both, well at least i have the correct one.

So the Army left them Red?? and not Olive Drab???

Hi yes most of the wksp tools including the grease gun where not painted green the tool boxes where painted green, the vice red.
