An original LRCV in a FFT.. for an officer. I see the cap and the brief case in there and a lockwood padlock on the 'pantry' to guard his kraft braised steak and vegies. Well sorted!

The photo also shows how old the designs are for the kit bag, pack, vanities bag, and the water jerry (fuel jerry too, butbthats a bit more obvious).
I think its all a bit like its before an inspection, definitely the Capt. took the photo after getting it all ship shape.

... but he'd need a mozzy net and it would contravene the advantage of the hootchie 'fast exit'.

Would be interesting to know more about this shot.
Webbing looks pretty new.
Hat badge depicts RAEME.
FFR/T with no sign whatsoever of radio or telegraphy equipment in view.
Seems to be DBG in colour. (Vehicle metal to seat base comparison)
Kitbag shipping bars would tell a story if we could identify the colours.
Stencil on jerry cans is wierd. Possibly depicts an AA battery and if so could place the shot more in Malaya Borneo than SVN.
The LAD as mentioned earlier says Light Aid Detachment and most units had one of these attached to them, whether mechanical, electronic, artificers or whatever.
