28v generator brand perentie

Hi guys. New to the forum.
I have an FFR I bought 2 years ago. Best thing I have ever bought haven't had many problems with it so far and probably never will 😊 Got it for 9500 with only 30,000ks on it. I love this car but I have had problems with the generator.
The first one it came with stopped working completely and I bought a replacement off gumtree for 200 bucks has been working okay until now ( I think it needs new bearings ) I am getting the old one fixed in Canberra by a real nice guy who use to own an auto electronics shop In Fyshwick. It had been previously rebuilt as it was sprayed matt black. He said it is in good condition besides one component that needs replacing tho he needs to know the brand of the generator to order the part. I have searched the web including aluro and remlr and it seems to be the only subject yet to be addressed, so my question is. . . Does anybody know what brand the generators are??? I have been using mine to run bands from.

Wow, that was certainly different. Welcome aboard. Certainly not a Tactical FFR anymore.
I've seen the Generator Brand somewhere. I'll post when I find it.
How many Amps does it take to run your Amps. Ha, I crack me up.

Fairly certain the brand is milspec out of Albury I also found out that while they are labeled as a generator they are actually a brushless alternator

Here is a link to one of the distro sites. Looks like they still manufacture these as well so should be able to buy replacements

Bob Loserr quote from other thread:
"okay, so after a bit of research i have found out that the brand of alternator is "milspec" out of Albury".
http://milspecmanufacturing.com/brushless-alternators/
"maybe if you contact them they can help you out or if you have sorted out a new alternator but want to hook it up through the pto box this company sells the plugs and sockets".
