RAAF 2a Land Rovers
« on: September 30, 2016, 09:27:45 PM »
What do we know of the Army Series 2a vehicles that were transferred to Williamtown? These originally had Army ARNs and came afar afield as WA according to the remlr lists.
Were these separate and on top of the RAAF orders of 20 2a vehicles?

Why were they transferred to RAAF Williamtown?
And do we have pics?

......yes I think I've found one.

And Adgies in the late 1970s with what looks like a late 2a swb.

I'd say a 66 or 67 C suffix. Did you get the chassis number?

No, unfortunately no. Does the dash panel with all those switches look original?

The dash panel looks like a post service job to me. A bit like the stereo system. 8)

Very neat though, whoever did it did a good job!

What do the labels say for the switches?

oh. I got an updated picture. omg. It's not RAAF, or not originally. It was Army. And this explains the switches.
