Wolf wheels on eBay
« on: September 28, 2016, 06:05:08 PM »
Again I apologise if this is not the right place, and I don't want to start any discussions on their suitability for Perenties, but there are some genuine ANR4583PM tubeless "Wolf" wheels for sale on eBay at present for $165. That's about half the price I have seen Australian companies asking for them. The seller is listed as blgautomotive, and is actually the Bruce Lynton Group who are a Land Rover dealer. The wheels in question ARE the genuine LR product, not just "OEM" - do not be confused by the picture which I suspect has been lifted from somewhere else and shows a wheel with nothing stamped between one pair of stud holes. The actual wheels have markings between every pair of holes, and are in unopened LR boxes.

I have no connection to the seller.

Naughty BL selling on ebay, not within LRA policy. for dealers to do this   Good price too, but under mining RRP will no doubt cause some shouting.

States free postage no idea how they could make money on them, if you were in Katherine for example its over $100 to get a rim there, even to Sydney you would be looking at $20 per rim.

I think BMI sell then for $300 bit expensive.

I don't think that LRA policy holds much sway with dealers. A while back, when I tried to book an appointment to have a safety recall (on the ABS) fixed at my local LR dealer, they told me they couldn't look at it for at least a month because some Ford promotion had caused their workshop to be booked out. I contacted LRA and was told "we have no control over our dealers". Looks like they were right!!
