Wouldn't the window either end up in the wrong place or end up being cut out?

You'd also have to re-position the reinforcing over the middle hoop.

With the price of new, I would think (just an opinion) that selling the 109 tarp and getting a new 88 would end up about the same cost and then you wouldn't have the extra seam in the roof.

Nope best way is to cut out the wxtra length from the window then reposition the window correctly, new wear band will hide join from the cut and shunt.

Anyway that's how I'd do it with the little bit of manufacturing knowledge I have.

Cheers for the input all!
Yes, I'm loathed to cut an original up but then there's always the question of how close to the original pattern a Repro is...

I'll absolutely defer to your opinion Scott.

I based my opinion on the cost of the cutting and shutting would be a significant part of the cost of a new made from scratch

Well I am now 109 canopy less....hopefully something will turn up.
Would prefer a NOS one or even a used one to a new
Made. But beggars can't be choosers.

I got a NOS from Toolern Vale for $750. But where do you find another?

Red Rocket's are identical to the old ones ( I have one of his as well).

Sorry can't help anymore.

and be aware that some NOS (stamped 1977) are slightly smaller over the cab area. You can still use them, but you may need to give the front a good soak and stretch prior to fitting.
