Flasher unit
« on: August 29, 2016, 09:31:04 PM »
I have just replaced all the ancillary lights with LEDs.
Can any body help with the part number or aftermarket flasher unit?
Next is the headlights, what have you guys done?
Cheers!

gedday

I've recently been working on my Black Out light circuit and had to replace the flasher can. The OEM Hella #3036 will support up to 8 x 21w globes and #3017 up to 6. Both are electronic and have a trailer flasher pin too...but they come with a price warning

hope this helps, Daryl

Cheers Dervish!
I'd read your post and was going to follow your instructions until I unscrewed the fuse cover and backing plate and discovered a Tyco can. Damn!
Perenties must have a different circuitry to the civvies.
Anyhooo bought some ballasts today and will install them on the weekend.
$5 per led unit - $60 for the ballasts - $75 for new Parker lamps and indicators - Mission objective achieved!
Can't take it with you😆

Still after solutions to the headlights?
Thinking of buying crystal surrounds and putting some hid globes in them?
Any body had a crack at this?
