People discussing new troopies would be better served on the Toyota forum.

That has been my experience anyway. No one has demanded an air bag in the 101 or rear seat belts in the Mercs.

I've been unnable to find the appropriate government document supporting the claim side facing seats are no longer allowed in QLD.

I would have assumed given the nature of this forum the OP was asking about a perentie 110 not a new vehicle so side facing seats are legal original seats only need lap seat belts and a change in seating capacity

I have yet to find any documentation on side seats in soft skin vehicles not allowed, but the section of roll over protection for rear seats is a good read, and I don't think the perentie would pass without further work.
