Thank you for the RFSV photo. It looks like you have the step plate or cover over the pintle hook. I have noticed some RFSV do not have them - and the mystery is... do they go missing in transit, get redeployed to other vehicles or were some never fitted. I'm not sure whether its a component of the mission upgrade kit aka RFSV mk2. (I could look it up if I wasn't working.)
The step plate is a piece of equipment that could easily grow legs and walk away. It makes it much easier to get in the back for this old guy. I'm glad to have it
