Perentie Ambulance - pic with rear interior details
« on: July 07, 2016, 04:42:33 PM »
Here's an interior picture from a video. Shows a lot of detail. This is really a file for many years from now when a restorer is searching for authentic display gear.

Hi Sixty, is 50-503 still around you?

According to the records seen so far, its ambulance number 1 - the first production 6x6 Ambulance. It was featured in the original sales brochure (LRA export prospects I think).

If you could see you way clear to get numerous pics, inside and out, that would be great.

Hi Sixty

A friend of mine just purchased a Perentie Ambulance from the latest auction and was wandering if you have any details on the lock set up for the rear door.

Photos of the lock and where the arms go into the side of the door and if any wording is on the lock itself.

Thanks

The lock/handle is a standard 'shed' type.

Had a very busy day....will take some pics of the handle/rods and interior tomorra  ;-)

That's a very interesting photo.....where was it taken? At the grays auction house. That looks like an interesting Unimog hiding behind it :)

That's a Mog Wrecker.
I saw one here in Devonport at the army barracks last week. It was towing the last Landrover away. All they have now are Mogs, Macks and a Toyota troopy.

Another request.

Any chance of a pic of the siren unit/over head console and any radios fitted.

Thanks

Yeah buddy !!!  :D :D :D
Given they have started receiving the MAN replacements in April I think, I'm going to assume the 6x6 mog/wrecker/MRV will be up at auctions next month 😍😍
It will be interesting to see what $$$ they fetch :)

PS. Sorry to Hijack the thread 😔
