F2 tipper 175-093
« on: February 15, 2016, 03:11:14 PM »
Have been put onto a tipper not too far from me. Apparently ex vietnam the owner says, but it does not appear on the vietnam arn list.
How complete is the arn list for the inters?

Always possible it is ex SVN, however looks to have its original chassis, nearly all SVN tippers went through the rebuild program at 3 base and chassis' were swapped about on most, have a look for a rebuild plate, the later rebuilds had fairly rudimentary aluminium plates, one of my SVN F2's has a plate at the bottom rear of the cab, it was one of the few that kept its original chassis. There is still a fair bit unknown about deployment as evidenced by Bluebells thread on a possible Mk4 SVN truck.

What would a truck like this be worth? Roughly.
It runs. Very rusty cab.

What is it worth? Depends on what you are going to do with it, could be worth $5000 + as spare parts and scrap metal, if you are thinking of restoring it you will be spending that much and more. If I was looking at buying it $4000 would be my limit depending on mechanicals.

It is worth the tare x the price scrappies are paying per tonne, at the very least.

Your best bargaining point is the rust. Good luck!

I agree with prior posts , I reckon given a mates experience , a restoration bill around $25 -30k.

Having said that, what a awesome outcome 👍

Good luck
