Globan Roamer Overdrive

Anybody heard of these before, just stumbled upon them.  Look interesting, expeisive, but interesting,

I thought the rocky mountain unit was the old fairy as they bought the licence, this seems a little different, but maybe it isn't after all.

Global Roamer is the new trade-name for Roverdrive. They had to change the name because Land Rover got upset apparently.

I have bought one but not fitted it yet; it looks to be very well made,

I note that they are particular as to the GL of the oil used,I checked my Series workshop book and it specifies Castrol EP 90,which I would presume was a GL4 oil,I also note that the modern Castrol is EPX 80w/90 which is a GL5 oil,and has been for quite a number of years,so the dilemma is does one use the modern oil, or go back to using the older oil tech oil.

I guess it depends on whether the overdrive is worth more than the transfer box  :D
