Hi Geoff

Point of order son! Make that "the 71 trailers that the jeeps came up on" I believe at least 5, maybe 6 made it under their own steam, one from Beaconsfield

Magellan

I had a few laughs reading the last few posts. I don't think I saw one Land Rover on a trailer.

To forward plan for Year of the Land Rover in 2018 if anyone wants to join KVE and start the ball rolling you are very welcome. The Carrier guys are now working towards 2017 - Year of the International and Year of the Carrier. I am happy to take suggestions to our next meeting on Saturday 30th July. Some people think the event runs from year to year but I can guarantee that we are thinking years ahead. In 2019 we are celebrating 40 years of the event and we know the themes in advance.

The gathering of Land Rovers and the BBQ works well but is there anything else you would like to add?

Daryl, how do we even know you're not stuck in the domestic terminal at Melbourne, or for that matter made it to the train to get the airport. God forbid you'd have to travel in a car on the Hume to get to the airport. Sorry mate, I'm with Mick.
As yet no pic equals no proof of life, and you will need to have a newspaper with current date under your chin.

If you get on the wrong plane and end up in Beijing by mistake, get out and about if you can - Kevin Rudd said they have a good chinatown district there.
