All these types of truck compressors require a pressure oil feed from the motor.The only exception is if an oil pump is fitted to the compressor,or if you convert it to splash lubrication.The best tyre pump compressor I have ever used is the PTO one fitted to the Blitz gearbox.Hard to find because people forget to disengage,and blow them up.Regards John.
