chassis replacement
« on: July 19, 2015, 07:37:09 PM »
Why would a 1968 F1 have a chassis replaced in (possibly) 1971? Chassis no in question is 1876. Does this mean vietnam service? ARN is 172-780.

That's interesting. The ARN list shows chassis 1876 was originally fitted to 171-672, which was a 1967 model.
That chassis was later fitted to 172-779, but it's original chassis number wasn't known.
172-780 was shown as having chassis number 2474.
