Hello Dave,
Thankyou for entering this conversation!!
I'm most likely wrong but from what I can see the 800 round 5.56 box and 640 round 7.62 box are the same size box ? Anyway, I've looked at my ammo tin and it's the 5.56 tin.

Then when that's fitted in the ammo holder it looks far to small as the lashing only just goes over the top. Is that how it's meant to look ?

Okay,  Peace and Tranquility and Pleasant thoughts to all Man and Womankind out there.
You'll just have to take this old WarDonkey out and shoot me.

And maybe I'm only guessing after all.
I just know I've got one of the RFSVs that came out first.
You know,,,   THE PRETTY ONE.

Nice work Aussiegregmac. Ha Ha!!! I have the "Mission Kit RFSV", "Mark 2", "Version 2", "First One" or I guess now known in some circles as the "Ugly One"! Thanks for everyone's help on the box issue. Maybe I will knock up a couple of wooden boxes to fit. It seems a waste not to use this space. Image below of the space so there is no confusion between versions.

Regards Warrick.
