Sorry if these questions have been addressed before but I did have a look through the Internet and couldn't find any definitive answers. I am wanting to know what type of box, equipment, container etc fits into the compartment  that is forward of the jerrycan holders in the rear of the RFSV. I was hoping to fit a box into this area for storage.
Also I was trying to find out the correct name for the solid centre combat rims that are fitted to the RFSV Perentie's. I was told that you are still able to buy them new but they are around the $2000 mark each. Is there a company in Australia selling them?
Any knowledge and answers to either of these questions would be much appreciated.
Regards Warrick.

Thanks Aussie Jeepster. What is a fair price do you think for a combat solid centre rim.

a fair price is what YOU want to pay!
I have a GS, so they are not fitted to mine and unless I picked up a set for $100, I wouldn't buy them.
I think I've seen them for $300 each. If you have an RSFV and you only need a couple of extras for spares, thats one thing, but if you want a full set of six, it will be expensive no matter how you do it.

At $2300 each, any thing less than that you are on the money.

Can you give me the link to where you can buy them new Juddy? I was told that they are still available new off the shelf but was unable to find the site. Also do you know the correct name for the Combat Splits?
Regards Warrick.

I have four RFSV/combat rims that I would sell for $350 each. They have some surface rust, but are very serviceable. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks guys. Seems to be a glut of second hand Combat rims on the market! Ha Ha!

I am hoping to pick up a Number 5 trailer and put a couple of Combat Splits on it to accompany my RFSV when I head out bush. I still have to buy the trailer and am hoping that there are a few trailers to come on the market on the West Coast in the coming Grays auctions. I want to buy the trailer first though, but thanks for the information and the opportunity to purchase the rims. They both sound like good buys considering how much the rims are to buy new.

Regards Warrick.

If you have the Mk 2 RFSV ( the one with the Jerry racks on the sides) I believe an earlier post said that forward of the tub was a space for ammunition cans. (probably .30 cal)

It's not a MK2 RFSV it is called the upgrade

The large square spots with straps according to the pan are for packs. The ammo goes behind the rear facing seat

Doubt it would be 30 cal as it wouldn't fit in the weapons carried in this vehicle

Also jerry cans only go in the drivers side basket. The passenger side had the high lift jack

This is all out of the PAM I know that there would have been unit modifications
