transport worry
« on: June 11, 2015, 03:23:23 PM »
Is anyone in or near chipping Norton in Sydney?
I have a s2a workshop sitting in a depot there (apparently).
Ned Kelly transport.
I have not been able to make contact with them and they have not contacted me.
I'm worried my land rover will disappear from under me.
Thoughts?

Geoff that would be terrific. But first I need to confirm where this Ned Kelly transport is. The mob I agreed to move my vehicle with gave the job to another mob without telling me. I have been unable so far to get a straight answer out of anyone.

No. No insurance. I've never had trouble in the past. I have left myself open I know.

Did the original company give you a consignment number? did you pay them?, they are still ultimately responsible, it is quite common to sub out work but the primary company still remains the company you engaged and thus are still responsible

sorry can't help much more than that, but I'd be keeping the pressure on the primary transport company

all the best

Hi Geoff.
I got worried because the second mob hired a third towie to move it to this depot in Sydney. And then I never heard anything for three days. The original coy was pissed as they weren't sure what had happened. Got onto the third towie and he finally gave me the name Ned Kelly which after a net and atsic search only showed a old address and disconnected phone. I got worried. Kept the calls going and suddenly was told it's on its way.
