Wasn't it cool yesterday morning. Might as well live at Perisher. -4.7 overnight. A bit of snow dust in some places.

Well, at least Saturday forecast looks nice, top of 18, low of zero.

Is the Canberra Rally which is being held at the moment and up to the 17th going to impact you get together?  It is being held in the same area as you will be in.

Thats great - didn't check the detailed programme - just knew that some of it was being held around in the area.

In the photo above (taken at Mt Ginnini summit) the snowline of the alps proper is visible on the horizon, perhaps 50km away. Its roughly adjacent to the brunswick green jerry can on the GS Perentie on the left. The view was as clear as it ever gets. The snowline at its most westerly point was bearing 190deg magnetic. I must plot it and work out what Mountain it was when I have time.
