Im after some new tyres and seem to be confused to know what to buy.
 Im running the welded 6.5×16 LandRover rims thst are designed for tubes.
Most tyres these days are tubless. ( not recommend for my rim).
Options for 7.5×16 are very limited.
235 85 16 are 99% tubeless tyres. 
I dont want to run sunnys, i would like to keep the rims looking original.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?

This can work, however a lot of tubeless tyres have internal ribbing and other internal roughness which can abrade tubes, so take a good look at the internal smoothness of the tyre.

While I'm not actually recommending the practice,  you may be aware that for many years following the introduction of tubeless tyres users ran them without tubes on the older type of S2 and later tubed rim.

I run the xzl tubeless on the Perentie rims. Got sick of the constant flat tyres with the tubes. The valve steam on the tubes was marked tubeless? Are they thicker?

Tubes can be found marked for "Radial" or "Bias" tyres, but I've never seen a tube marked Tubeless.

"Radial" tubes are thicker and a slightly harder compound to resist rubbing through and failing due to frictional heat.
