Sure, $10 if you want it, whether at Corowa or wherever.

Here is the "shovel close to bonnet" illustration via Stephen Davis' photobucket:

Thanks Carzee, I'll keep it in mind, the tyranny of distance between here and Canberra being what it is. I'd like to sort it soon

cheers

A while ago I got the cyclone tools listed for my S3,  not one of them fitted any of the brackets. After a week they all went back.
Are we sure the current  tools are the right ones for the series?
the issues i had were the blade on the shovel being at to great an angle to even insert into the bracket (needed to be closer to parallel to the handle, the pick handle was to large for the clamp, along with the axe, they just would not fit as for the pick head, the hole was to narrow to fit.

So many Landy's, None going :(

Sounds like you may have bought the wrong size, all but the shovel are like for like, the shovel you have to angle grind off the point to round out the mouth

Hi Scott,
Thats  odd, there was no way I could get the axe or pick handle mounted, they just wouldn't fit, especially the axe.

How goes the FFR hatch measurements?  I'm almost ready to cut into the tub, just have to re paint the chassis repair. Then its FFR the tub, plonk it back on and start re assembling everything.

You have to be sure to source the correct shovel (I had the same issue), I ended up getting it right the second go. One style of 'D' handle shovel is flatter so fits better but one still has to cut the blade to suit.

cyclone brand (australian made)available at most large hardware stores is current ADF and fits series tool brackets as well

the axe is the "straight" handled, polished http://www.cyclone.com.au/products/cyclone37/2kg-polished-axe-timber-handle

the shovel is 4x4 camping shovel, wood hanle with steel "D" handle at top http://www.cyclone.com.au/products/cyclone-3/4wd-camping-shovel-short-timber-shaft-with-galvanised-dee-handle

wooden handled pick No5  ie 5lb (some people get the pick/maddock as more versitile) http://www.cyclone.com.au/products/cyclone92/225kg-road-pick-short-timber-handle

All at Bunnings.   All this courtesy of a previous post by FFRman.
