112 833 is in my backyard. I have the same question but plan on making a start later this year when I have a better workshop.

I get the feeling I'll be spending many good hours in the winery workshop creating the parts I don't have/can't find. We'll definitely have to trade photos, there are some parts on mine missing that I'll need measurements to whip them up.

I do know of a Topo survey not far from you that you may be able to look and measure..........

Strip down has started!!
Removal of the gas cylinder from the rear tray was fun, super rusty and 1/4 full off gas. Took a bit to bleed it out.
Seats have been welded to the rails so the mission to find replacement seats and rails will keep me amused.
Finally a quick wash with a hot water pressure cleaner to blast off some paint.

I picked up another 1964 series 2a, it's a standard GS in need of a whole lot of love. I was told over the phone it was 99% complete but on arrival to pick it up it was more like 60% complete with a rusty chassis.
The question I keep asking myself is "Do I use it for parts to speed up the resto on the topo or do I now have two projects to tackle?"

Experience tells me one resto at a time! I'd use the GS as a parts car and put all the effort into the Topo Survey as it's a rare vehicle and wouold be nice to have one retored - I'm not aware of another one restored to original, although there are a couple orginal condition ones around - but that's about it!

cheers
Scott

Hey Tony,
I've sent you an email with some higher resolution pictures of the dash. I'll pop lower res shots on here tonight when I have a better internet connection.
Cheers
