I can imagine the costs involved.  If , a battle reenactment was a highlight of the airshow, there may be a possibility of subsidiary payment for travel costs.  LLH was paid to bring the AA gun and show rifle display as it is a drawcard, and if the weather turned sour as it has previous years, the Bofars kept crowds entertained.
Being on an airfield, there is lots more room for Armoured movement.

Not when TAM  was only offering a box 35sq metres for each armoured vehicle.  You couldn't even turn around in that space. We couldn't see the point in taking 2 days moving the M3 Stuart and M5 half-track, to park them up in a box for a day and a half of an airshow.

Diana i did get a laugh outta the Mchairs comment, excuse my ignorance. ;D   They did have a historical car club present, maybe thats where they were offering the small space. My idea was to have all the military and A vehicles over with our display which had heaps of room.  For A movement they have a huge paddock next to our display in the far corner that would have been ideal for battle reenactment and vehicle movement away from public, if organised as said may be subsidiary for transport costs  etc.

Anyways IF17 is fast approaching.  This year SRN /LLH will have a great display with construction of some new items im currently working on.  We will be more accurate and also looking at having blank fire slrs this time.  Looking forward to this years show,  want to make an even greater display this time.  Anyone that would like to bring a vietnam era Landrover or truck etc is more than welcome to set up with our 1ALSG -86 tpt vehicle display.
It pains me seeing that UH1 not in its original colors.  Lol.  Hopefully it will make an appearance this year.  Would be something else having a cent there too.

Hi Sorry I haven't been around this site for a couple of months.

Already in planning with Ian Rufus and Boris about Ironfest and I may also have my Mk3 Inter present.

My mirth on the chairs got out of hand, many people seem to miss when I'm trying to be humorous.

No Cent this year, but hoping to get sponsorship from a gaming company to bring some interesting armour from Qld.
