Perenti Front Window Locks
« on: April 02, 2015, 07:43:35 PM »
Sorry - I am not familiar with Perenties.

How are the door front sliding windows locked - and where would I buy such locks?  Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks

Garry

Thanks - I assume that tab that is sticking out stops the front pane sliding back?

So I assume there is something similar to stop the rear pane sliding forward.

Thanks

This actually stops both by pushing up on the bottom of both in the middle where they overlap, this one is worn and you can see how its gone thin and sort of wedges between the two, the "spring"is also cracked and lost it's tension, that's why I took it out as it didn't work anymore

sorry this is the only photo I have

regards
Scott

Thanks for the pic and explanation - I now understand how it works. is different to what i expected as I thought each would have been restrained individually but the way it is done is quite logical.

Thanks for taking the time to explain everything.

Cheers

Garry

Anybody sell these locks or parts to fix them?
