Hello Boxy

I notice that the tub bulkhead has been cut out and replaced. Do you know if this was an ambulance mod to allow stretchers to protrude into the passenger space?

Photo shows your bulkhead and the other a standard bulkhead.

I have drained the fuel tank and then primed the electric fuel pump. It started first go. Steering is super heavy and it has no brakes. I took it for a couple of laps around the paddock.

All of the lights and blinkers work except for a blown blinker bulb.

I have been searching the bin wire webpage for a new wiring harness for this rover.

Should I buy the 1961 S2A military 109 harness or the 1962 63 88 harness.

Best to call them and they will make up a 2A SWB military harness, did that for me a few years ago

I was in Ringwood last week and dropped in to Vinwire to meet Paul.

Pretty impressive, the machinery they have to make the cloth covering for the looms is amazing.

They had a big stand with all types of cloth covered wire in different colours amd patterns, I asked if it was hard to get that type of stuff - not really, we make it all here!

He is just finishing a SWB 1963 military loom for a project that I am helping with, I asked him to change his pattern to include the junction block on the rear crossmember for the NATO socket and the rear lights.

(Originally his pattern did not have this, modified from a civi one).

Have a chat to them, they are very keen to re make all the old looms exactly as they were.

Looking at suspension for the old girl.

Should i replace with the same springs or go for parabolics?

Its pretty sad when you can pay $350 in freight from the UK and still be $400 in front on suspension
