Perentie 110 door Top Studs
« on: March 13, 2015, 10:03:03 PM »
I have removed the door tops on my Perentie 110 as I will be fitting the Garrison Outfitters' seals. Problem is the studs are all pretty much gone, with one having to be drilled out. Does anyone know of a parts supplier in Australia that may have them? Part no.s are MTC6223  or VYR500010. Thanks.

Go to the main REMLR site and go to the library and download the RPS repair parts shedual you will find all the part numbers you will ever want and you will never have to ask for part numbers again. Once you have the part number go to your nearest Land Rover dealer tell them what you want and they will get it for you. I have purchased all my parts this way and the prices are cheap to. I purchased the parts you're looking for and they were well under $10 each. Don't buy parts from eBay as they are too dear and you pay over the top rates for postage.

Love to see you go and purchase a pair of  rear calipers  from your land rover dealer. Don't think you would think there cheap then.

Have to agree with you on eBay some things are cheaper direct some not, but again ( and as LRA read this forum ) 90% of people on here refuse to buy higher value  Genuine parts over none Genuine parts .

Ordered today from the local Land Rover parts dept, $25 for the older style (MTC6223) and $20 for the newer style (VYR500010). To be honest I didn't think they would have them in Australia as the Wolf type tops are rare except for the Perenties and I figured the Army would have their own stock. I was also hoping there may be an alternative to the steel, however on inspection I think it's definitely better to have the stud the sacrificial part rather than the captive part in the sill. Lesson learnt.  Thanks for your replies.

Nylon washers negate most galvanic corrosion situations. http://www.anzor.com.au/blog/galvanic-corrosion-keep-those-metals-apart/ ;)
