In the list for RAN series2a vehicles there are 5 109" with 6 cyl engines. Do we know what type of engine they were?

I would have thought that they would have been the standard series 2a LWB 2.6l Rover 6 cylinder.

Is that in NSW?
If it is, I recon I've seen it on ebay and driven past it. If it is the one I'm thinking of, there is another ex Navy one there.
It is interesting. I reckon it's an civilian one painted blue and white. I would also not be surprised if someone told me it was in the Navy.
You should buy it.

This is in Victoria. The cut guards look original as the have the reinforcement on the corners.

You're a hard man.
Send me the details. I either have nowhere to put it or no money but it may assist in my S2a SWB project.

Civvy spec chassis look at the rear cross member.

No cut guards in the navy. Cut guards on civvy spec chassis is incorrect. No nato plug below number plate so not a command recon so doesn't match chassis.

I'd say civvy.
Lots...............

HMAS Albatross had a 6x6 Perentie Ambo for about 8 years. It probably did less than 5000kms in that time.
