Landrover Ambulance
« on: August 18, 2014, 06:22:42 PM »
Hi,
I am keen to buy a Series 2/2a Ambulance. Does anyone know of any for sale or have one they would like to sell? I have looked at four this week in South East Queensland and either the owners want to keep them or they require a bit to much work for me to get them going. I have learnt a lot about ambulance during all this........
Any info would be appreciated
Darren

Hi Darren,

My advice is keep looking and be patient.  What you want will come sooner or later.  There was one in WA some months ago for sale. The cost of getting it to QLD would be more than you would pay for the truck.

A GS Panel van may be an option if you can find one.

Cheers,

Ian

I know of one that might be for sale in SEQ, but I understand it requires a lot of work (new chassis).

They do come up semi regularly on gumtree, ebay and here.  Just be patient and you will see something appear, not so many of the girls out there any more, and many belong to members here (no, i'm not selling mine, sorry)
