re-skin bonnet over gal frame

Very cool, did someone arrange a special dip? When I went to the a pro dipper years ago they said "its too hot come back when its done a lot of jobs and cooled off a lot". Were there any hassles getting the frame done?

No problems getting it done except they have a minimum run weight. I posted a notice here as an invitation for anyone local to join my run but being free up to a 100 kg and not word… So I got a few things done like brackets and the like

Got onto the brakes this week.

49-175 came with lengths of brake lines cut out of it. So now I've replaced the hydraulic lines and reconditioned the master cylinder.

After bleeding up the brake system it became apparent that one of the caliper piston seals was leaking so I rebuild both calipers.

BTW has anyone else noticed that Land Rover is now supplying brake seals DOT 4 compatible as replacement parts?

I fitted the refurbished doors with a stainless steel fastening kit and new rubbers all round including the door top.

For something with just eight bolts there was a lot of mucking around to get it just right.

I ended up G Clamping the door to the correct position with everything backed off including the two door top nuts and the locks then slowly tightening everything up once it was right.

Maybe I wont get wet after all.  ;D
