Thanks Geoff
the plates that insert into the holders that have the Kiwi bird and company numbers are 150x150mm the actual plate holder is 155x155mm outside measurement, that's including folded sides and these have counter-sunk bolt holes x 3 in the middle as shown. sorry not the most user friendly site for adding a pic soi no pic..cheers, Carl.

Did all the Kiwi vehicles have them or only the Skippy's?

If only the Skippy's they will be the same as Aussie SIIA holders.

Chazza was making reproduction ones a while ago and you can sometimes find SIII type NOS.

Try Tim Vibert Empire Trading he had a few boxes of new and second hand tac sign holders.

I must ask, what is the OP planning on putting in the tac plat holders, and where did he get them from?  I have been thinking of cutting up some stainless sheets for my Perenties tac holders but can't think what to laser cut into them.

We need more info regards NZ tac plates but at a guess the kiwi shown in post 4 by Diana would be a start, I don't know about NZ unit tacs :)

Those two images come from the REMLR website.

I seem to remember some Kiwi Artillery Land Rovers in Vietnam.  Perhaps we could have an album dedicated to our Kiwi ANZAC brothers in SVN?

161Bty RNZA were number 13 on an artillery tac (Red over blue horizontal), with a Kiwi on a black background as the formation sign.

The various Victor and Whiskey Companies of NZ infantry wore the tac signs of their parent ANZAC battalions, but scored a white Kiwi on the guards in place of the usual red Kangaroo. I'm sure more than one 1ATF tac was quietly swapped for Kiwi tac borrowed from 161Bty.
