Out of curiosity, does it work? If you put in pads with a sensor, and plug them in, would there be an indicator on the dash to come on when they were down?

The brake warning lamp comes on.

It merely brings the wire in the pad in contact with the rotor to complete the circuit.

Although wasn't there someone (Juddy?)  who had trouble sourcing new pads with a wear sensor and in the end, opted,  from advice, to got the pads without it?
