Rear Light Cluster ( akk Soap Dish )
« on: July 21, 2012, 08:06:01 PM »
Question

The light clusters, attach to the cross member with 4 bolts, am I correct in saying the 4 bolts also attach the lamp base plate to the light cluster and then to the cross member, leaving the lens to be attached to the lamp base.

If so how on earth can you do this as if you what the screws to stay horizontal that go from the lens to the lens base back plate, the bolts that attach the light cluster would bi in the way, directly behind the lamp base plate.  I can attach all of the above but would have to have the lens vertical. ie screws 12/6 oclock.

Also the new old lamps I have need re-drilling as the holes are too small for the correct bolts....

Does that make sense????
