I just did mine freehand following the patterns on the REMLR site. One thing NOT to do is outline the patterns in chalk as the chalk lines will show through the paint.

Hi Jason
Apply the tan first then do the green then the black. If you change this sequence if wont look rite. It is hard to explain the method when you come to visit I can show you.
It is easy to explain when you can give a demo.
Cheers

Hi Howard
You can draw the pattern on with chinograph or chalk, if you use chalk the secret is to wipe the chalk until it is nearly wiped off. I did mine all freehand.

The base colour is all green first, then brown and then black, no straight edges and try to cross from one panel to the next to mask straight edges. I just paint it freehand as there isn't a "plan" for the Oka.
If you just want to brighten faded paint wipe it over with wd40, diesel or even ATF to bring the colour back. Probably any light oil will do.
