Ex Melton ambulance
« on: January 26, 2016, 05:43:01 PM »
I had a visitor today, one of the ex Melton ambulances that has made Whyalla home, now tidied up in original condition and running very smoothly.
I couldn't resist dropping some SA TA plates in!

Fantastic :D. And probably one of the most original and authentic ambos in the country. A real time capsule.

Nice, really nice time capsule blood box. All power to Ian for having preserved it in original condition and having saved it from the holden conversion and over restoration mob that would have destroyed its originality and patina and to the new owner for tasteful recommissioning without destroying it with a full restoration.
