Series 111 dual battery set up
«

I am wanting to put a second battery under my bonnet, does any manufacturer sell a tray for this, or has someone discovered another model will fit .
Thanks

Hi Bruce
Is this for a Perentie or Series III?
If the Series 3 you can use the SIII/SIIa 4cyl battery tray but it is a squeeze for the air cleaner. It may be possible to fit an 8" car or ultima battery and shorten the cradle a bit.
If for the perentie you could use the Traxside Defender kit.

In the SIII it is also possible to fit 2 x 8" batteries in the original underseat battery box.
I have 3 x 12" batteries in my SIII FFR side (radio) battery box and the main vehicle 12" in the underseat location.

Thanks Diana,
This is for Jan Thompson's newly purchased series 111.
My perentie is nicely set up.
Look forward to our next outing and thanks for your prompt reply.

Bruce
If you come out to cookeys on Sunday near Denham Court we may have most of the bits you need. Jan has my number and email.

It is great that people offer to help. Troy and I decided that the Series 111 originally owned by Neville Smith from Corowa was too good to let go.
