I'm guessing a wide light. Despite there being only about forty of them, I'm seeing more and more of them. I was looking at a beautifully restored one about a week ago.

That 26210900G chassis falls in a registry info gap between 177039 and 177121.
Do we have that entry page from the BBB?

Looking at the gas compliance plate it looks to me that the certification is for chassis number 26210960G.The chassis number 2621900G appears to be ARN 177 031 which is a 10 seater. The notes in the ARN section suggest that a possible chassis swap with ARN 114 225 could have occured.?????Looking at the disposal date of 08/09/81 which is odd as most late model WKSPs wernt disposed of until the late 80s early 90s.I wonder what the rolling chassis number is?.The paint colour for a 71 model doesnt add up either as I wuold have thought olive drab or cam more suitable for a 71 model regardless of its census.Pity Im to far away to have a look at it.Anyone up that way prepared to help solve the mystery by having a look at it.Cheers Hallsy.

Just looking at the ? complete vehicle ? to me it looks like a bitsa, the chassis has had the outriggers cut off and a fabricated front mount for the rear springs, it has civvie shackles on the back, the dash has had a bit of poetic license done to it, the spare chassis appears to be the real item.
The images are really not clear enough, especially when looking at the LHS of the dash on the ? complete / one, it has the riveted panel to cover the hole for LH drive, that is where the Nomenclature plate is usually affixed, just my thoughts cheers Dennis :)

Geeez, with only six of these ARB tandems ever made, we need another camper trailer like a hole in the head!   :'(

Sorry.   Rant finished.

114-225 is that workshop landy according to the plate.  known to be a wagon that had it's chassis etc put under a workshop landy as per the entry for 114-225. That said, looks a bit messed about with now.

Series 3 Ambulance Gumtree N.S.W
(Interesting Statement in Add?)
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/baradine/cars-vans-utes/land-rover-4x4-ex-army-ambulance-1982/1059827997
It's the only one I've seen.
I doubt it was an Ambulance. Perhaps some sort of workshop?

I suspect there is a civilian chassis under the military body.

The front bumper is definitely civilian, in image 2 the shackle may also be civilian.

The body may be this vehicle in better times, certainly relatively local to the 2009 owner's location (at least the closest regional town)

Yes the vehicle was a replica LRPV built on a SIII FFR with winch.
