Yes they do. Our version at least. You'd have to be good to drive in reverse in the higher gears though.
The gearbox is divided into two H patterns with a slight detent between the lower four and the upper four.
Reverse is selected with another small lever to go forward or reverse.
The lower four are a bit like crawler gears and the the upper four are adequate for normal road driving.
In all, works good. I was just never game enough to bother with changing gears in reverse.
