Yup! looks like one from the first contract, but that chassis No looks like it is earlier than my Nomenclature plate from a first contract vehicle (C104337/16-12-59, so that would be from 20-1-60 build post X'mas  as the chassis were stacked up the higher numbers being used first in assembly at PMC Enfield.

Yes, just had  close look at Non clat and it is C1043?? (37) and build was 20-1-60. from memory it was 50 in December and 200 in January.

cheers

......Needs a slight assembly,  I will admit, but most of it is there. Maybe no prop shafts but I will track them down.

It should be gracing my back yard in the coming days.

Hmmm harder than I thought to recover: 3.5 hours to get it loaded up and a very, very slow trip home. Dorothy the Dinosaur (Nissan Patrol) didn't like the 2 big hills...Barrengarry and Cambewarra Mountains with a car trailer and 2 tonnes of Land Rover parts on the back, 35 degrees and us with the conditioner on, but we soldiered on.

Photos I guess soon. Once it cools down. A terrible shame it has been dismantled, so many hardware parts have been left to the dogs and have rusted. They will all visit the sand blaster I guess.

ARN looks like it is 110-595. Is it a NAMVET? Well Tac holders are fitted. It is very clean for its age. ZIP rust. Soooooo do I restore it or do I break it up?  :-[ It is the best chassis & Bulkhead I have ever seen.... No rust at all. I am in a quandary.

Definitely worth buying though.  Rear Diff recovery will be conducted in the coming weeks.

We don't really know of any command recon's that went to vietnam, although undoubtedly some did.  Only note we have is an ebay appearance in 2009.
